Born and raised in Panola County, Mississippi, Victoria Prince Ryals graduated from South Panola High School before continuing her education at the Honors College at Mississippi University for Women. Victoria graduated with honors earning a Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in philosophy and women's studies. Victoria obtained her law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. After law school, Victoria relocated to Jackson, Mississippi where she practiced in the areas of employment discrimination and catastrophic personal injury. Victoria is now a partner at Ryals Law Firm, P.A. where she primarily practices in the areas of employment law, personal injury, and social security disability.
Victoria is a member of the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project, an organization which works to provide legal services to indigent individuals. Victoria was selected Mississippi Association for Justice's Young Lawyer of the Year in 2011 and has also received the Mississippi Association for Justice Beyond the Call Award.
In 2013, Victoria was named as a Rising Star among lawyers under 40 in the MidSouth Region by SuperLawyers magazine, a peer rating and recognition service.
Victoria makes her home in Tunica, Mississippi with her husband and law partner Wes Ryals.
Richard W. “Wes” Ryals was born and raised in Tunica County, Mississippi and graduated from Tunica Academy. Following graduation from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, Wes obtained his law degree, with honors, from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
After law school, Wes practiced law in Jackson, Mississippi for a number of years before returning home to serve his community through Ryals Law Firm, P.A. where he primarily practices in the areas of DUI and other Criminal Defense and Family Law.
Wes is admitted to represent clients before all Mississippi state courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Wes has successfully represented clients in civil and criminal trials at both the state and federal level.
He is married to Victoria Prince Ryals. Wes is a member of the American Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar, the Tunica County Bar Association, Tunica Rotary Club and Tunica Arts Council. Wes and Victoria both attend the Tunica United Methodist Church.
